Our 2013 Wine List contains a selection of superb old and new world wines.
White Wines
1. Sentina Pinot Grigio
An excellent popular white Italian wine
which is light bodied, with a palate of
refreshing citrus fruits and a pleasant
lingering finish.
2. Los Pastos Sauvignon Blanc
This Chilean white is dry, with lovely soft
fruits, gooseberry and grapefruit aromas
with a superb refreshing aftertaste.
3. Cape 312 Chenin Blanc
Pale yellow in colour with a hint of green.
A lively South African wine with nuances
of nutmeg & cloves, well balanced and
elegant.
4. Auction House Chardonnay
An excellent Australian dry white with
tropical fruit flavours and a mellow finish.
5. Century Hill Sauvignon Blanc
This award winning New Zealand white
is dry with classic mown grass, green-
capsicum and tropical fruit characteristics
with a subtle finish.
Rose Wines
6. Pacific Heights Zinfandel
Flavourful and well balanced with a
refreshing mouthful of strawberry and
water melon fruits, with a lingering finish.
A Californian classic!
7. Los Pastos Merlot Rose
Strawberry colour with a dry lingering
palate or pomegranate berry fruits
which fills your mouth. A lovely Chilean
Rose! |
Red Wines
8. Los Pastos Merlot
A typical Chilean Merlot with a rich mixture
of blackcurrant and plum flavours and a
hint of leather supported by wonderful soft
tannins.
9. Cape 312 Pinotage
A deep dark red wine with sweet blackberry
and smoky aromas on the nose that follow
through to the palate.
10. Auction House Shiraz
A dry red wine with lots of ripe, dark berry
fruits balanced with a touch of light oak with
a rich finish. Excellent value Aussie Red!
11. Para Dos Malbec
A soft, slightly jammy style of Malbec from
the Mendoza region in Argentina.
Three months in oak gives spices and
vanilla nuances.
12. Carrizal Rioja Crianza
A magnificent Spanish red Rioja with lovely
plum and spicy flavours which continue
through to a long complex finish.
Sparkling & Champagne
13. Di Maria Prosecco D’Oc
Italy’s answer to Champagne, a quality dry
sparkler!
14. Veuve Ricotean Brut N/V
A delightfully refreshing dry champagne
with a fine, elegant, slightly lemony nose,
lively mousse and long crisp palate. |
